Red dress: outfit in Milan

A red dress is so important as any black dress in a woman’s wardrobe, it’s a statement kind of piece that’s already a classic in fashion and a must-have.

So here’s my choice of outfit with a little red dress, straight from a hidden little palazzo in Milan.

A red dress with ruffles, that always make a piece more feminine, even if in scarlet red! I paired this dress with black high heels and an updo in my hair, just because it’s incredible hot here in Milan.

I’m really enjoying this red dress, it’s easy to wear and it’s also perfect to pair with ballet flats for a more comfortable outfit and a different kind of look.

The red dress is from a website called StyleWe, it’s a website that sells independent fashion designer pieces and I found it so cool, I was contacted by them to pick two outfits and this lovely red dress was one of them. The dress quality is really good and the fabric is soft, so I was positively impressed.

For the jewelry, I’ve picked some almost minimal pieces in gold and a cool watch to give this outfit a little hint of coolness. A long necklace, a pair of earrings and quite a few rings + a bracelet.

Well, since there is never enough red on an outfit, I worn this red dress with red lipstick, the one and only and my favorite red lipstick: Ruby Woo by MAC, just to complete this outfit with the right amount of red. On my eyes, my signature makeup look with eyeshadows in tones of brown, elegant and it will always go with virtually any outfit.

Destroyed jeans outfit

And the destroyed jeans have not got me tired yet, I love to create a slightly tidier look with basic T-shirt, destroyed jeans and add more luxurious accessories, as this golden court shoes with jewelry. The combination takes the basics of this look and gives a more of a chic look.

Do you know when you start choosing the look by the shoes, does anyone else does it? I do this all the time. And when I bought this pair of shoes, even though it was all decorated pair, I had already imagined it with a look with destroyed jeans and a simple t-shirt, so the focus would be on this beautiful pair of shoes.

To complete this outfit, several accessories like this vintage necklace, the wooden earrings are from Monili di Legno (a brazilian brand that create accessories with wood) and colored bracelets to bring some color to my outfit.

Summer Dress in Floral Print

Straight from Milan’s spring, a floral dress outfit on Via della Spiga, one of the streets that forms the famous Fashion Quadrangle (Quadrilatero della Moda) here in Milan, known for being a neighborhood of fashion and sophistication.

I love a more delicate and feminine style, but to bring a trendy touch to my outfit and make it a little bit different, I decided to go for a metallic bag in rosé color.

An informal look, but cute and preppy. To make it comfy and pretty, I decided to go for ballerina flats, besides it’s super comfortable to walk around Milan.

The floral dress is very spring-like and fresh, after all, the weather here is more like summer than spring.

My accessories for this look with my floral dress were very minimalist and just a few pieces: just a pair of small ring earrings in rosé and a ring:

The baby pink bomber jacket completed my outfit, in a very thin fabric, just to give it a little more charm and for when it gets just a littler fresher late at night.

Floral dress – Milan Fashion Week Outfit

For the first day of Milan Fashion Week Fall 2017, I wore a guipir dress with shades of blue and black to star MFW in style. Check all the photos and details of my outfit.

During the crazyness of fashion week, between a show and another at the first day of MFW, I’ve met the british photographer David Bruce to shoot my first outfit for MFW here in Milan.

Milan Fashion Week’s fashion shows and presentations usually take place in the central region of Milan, always with amazing scenery places nearby the shows, you can always follow everything in real time at my Instagram @manuluize, just check my Instagram Stories.

Near the venue to one of MFW’s afternoon shows, we photographed my outfit in the Brera region in Milan, which is known both for the most artistic part of the city (for having the famous Brera Academy, the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan), and for having several busy restaurants and bars. The region has a beautiful and classic architecture in several streets and it was all about my delicate and elegant look, but with a touch of modernity (take a look at the heels of my shoes).

My hairstyle was very simple, just with a false cascade braid, which is actually very easy to do, since I don’t even know how to do a cascade braid.
