Summer Essentials:

Print dress StyleWe for fall – Outfit

For a long time, I was into only solid color dresses, but lately, I’ve been all about colorful prints, even for fall.

It makes our days happier and our outfits prettier. So here’s one of my fall outfits with a beautiful print dress:

Manu Luize - Colorful dress

Dress: StyleWe | Bracelet: Swarovski | Boots: H&M | Handbag: H&M

If you are looking for a colorful dress as well, isn’t this print amazing? So full of colors and life and definitely perfect for fall, since it also has 3/4 sleeves. You can pair it with a black coat or even a coat of any of the colors on the dress to create a statement look.

I love dresses and it doesn’t matter the season, from fall to spring! And this one is playful and colorful, I’m loving this outfit:

Since fall is already over us here in Milan, high heel boots were my choice to match this dress in an elegant and fall season-like.

The dress is made in a light fabric with some almost silky-finish.

Sometimes when you order online, I already had the experience of buying a print dress and when I received it, the print was not beautiful nor feel made. But I’m happy to say that all dresses I own from StyleWe never had this problem, they have always been so pretty and well made, so I’m happy they have some quality pieces with an affordable price. Over all, my StyleWe review has been quite positive.

I still love to wear the coat like a cape, you know, when it’s not too cold, it makes your outfit more stylish.

Lovely Midi dress Outfit

Who else loves a midi dress? With such a ladylike feeling, I love midi dresses, specially those that are high waisted and create such a feminine look.

Looking for some inspiration on how to wear a midi dress?

Check out my lovely outfit with a pretty midi dress I’m totally in love with!

Midi dress StyleWe

Dress: StyleWe | Shoes: Jorge Bishoff | Handbag: Arezzo

I’m in love with this dress since I had laid my eyes on it, it’s such a feminine piece and I made it even more ladylike pairing it with court shoes and a nude handbag. The dress is from a website called StyleWe that works with independent fashion designers from all around the round, and it has some very interesting fashion available over there.

In order to create a ladylike outfit, don’t forget to pick some delicate accessories as well. Court shoes with some jewelry, a delicate handbag as well as earrings, a bracelet and some rings, all of them in a delicate style to match the whole outfit.

The dress is made in jacquard, so it’s gives a lot of shape and structure to the dress, making it to stay in this shape of a skirt on A-line silhouette (A-line is the name of this shape of skirt that looks like the letter “A”, its tight on the waist and big and voluminous at the end of it).

As for a StyleWe review, the website has some very interesting pieces that you almost don’t know what to choose, the quality of this dress is very good, it was made with a nice fabric and its well made.

Milan: Pasticceria Marchesi (Pastry Shop)

A must-see in Milan for those who love gastronomy and want to get to know one of the most famous and traditional pastry shops in Milan: the Pasticceria Marchesi. Created in 1824 and acquired by the Prada group, the pastry shop has now three addresses in the Italian city.

Where to eat in Milan: Pasticceria Marchesi
A very traditional pastry shop in Milan, Pasticceria Marchesi was founded in 1824 and today it stands at the same address, being a historical pastry shop in Milan and even a symbol of the city. With so much tradition, as soon as I was around, I had to stop by at the traditional address to check it myself.

The pasticceria (Italian word for “pastry shop”) really began only with sweets and after 1900 also became a coffee shop. The traditional address on Via S. Maria alla Porta 11 / a, is the same since its opening and this address is more like a “fast coffee” kind of place with no place to sit or just to take something home / hotel (which by the way, when you take away, its wrapped in this lovely packaging of the beginning of this post).

Sweets in Milan: Pasticceria Marchesi

About the sweets from the Marchesi pastry shop: delicious! Marchesi really has the tradition it deserves, I went to visit the traditional address and tried some traditional sweets and I also couldn’t resist to take others for later. (Yes, I love sweets.)

About the prices, I would say it’s a very normal price, just so you can have an idea, the sweets on the photo above had a price by weight and they cost only € 5. (And they were delicious indeed.)

So, when thinking about where to eat in Milan, if you’re craving some sweets, stop by at one of Marchesi’s address.

• Pasticceria Marchesi Addresses:

• Traditional address: Via S. Maria alla Porta 11 / a, 20123 Milano (It does not open on Mondays).

• Second address: Via Monte Napoleone 9, 20121 Milano.

• Third Address: Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

The second address is the new address opened in 2015, after the brand has been acquired by Prada. Unlike the traditional address, the new addresses have a space with tables and seats and a beautiful design chosen by Miuccia Prada herself.

Atsushi Nakashima Spring 2018 (MFW)

For the Spring 2018, the collection of Atsushi Nakashima presented at this last Milan Fashion Week brought us a deconstruction of classic pieces with customizations of zipers that make them super modern and very contemporary pieces.

Atsushi Nakashima - Spring 2018

My Spring 2018 season at Milan Fashion Week started with the Atsushi Nakashima fashion show here in Milan, bringing an air of modernity to fashion.

One of the classics of fashion, the trench coat got deconstructed and it gains up to three fabrics and colors in the above look.

Different fabrics and colors in one piece bring asymmetry back to fashion, playing with deconstructed fashion and customizing colors and accessories in a modern way is totally in for the Atsushi Nakashima Spring 2018 collection.

ATSUHI NAKASHIMA - MFW 2018

Denim garments are paired with tailored pieces and even the sweatshirt gets an air as a more fashionable and stylish look.

And speaking of denim, it also became the fabric  for dresses like this stylish one for the next summer.

Blue, which turned out to be a trendy color already for this Fall/Winter season, especially when  in combination with black, it’s probably going to continue here for the next summer:

Looks Azul Atsushi Nakashima - MFW 2018

The play between more sportive pieces and the more sophisticated air creates an elegant collection for the brand’s next summer. Like in this look that makes this sportive combination almost looks like a piece of tailoring.

Review Hand and Cuticule Cream – Pink O’Clock from Prismologie

Prismologie is one of those brands with a packaging that is a work of art of the minimal design and they also have great quality products. I tried out the Prismologie Hand and Cuticle Cream of the Pink O’Clock line with Rose and Pink Quartz fragrance of Prismologie, which has a delicate floral fragrance.

Prismologie Rose Hand and Cuticule Cream

• Review of the Pink O’Clock Hand and Cuticule Cream from Prismologie:

Prismologie Pink Hand and Cuticule Cream

I can’t get enough of looking at these beautiful packaging from Prismologie, I love the minimalist design and they look so beautiful and elegant in any bathroom. But let’s go back to the product’s Hand and Cuticule Cream from Pismologie review, it is a hand cream with a delicious fragrance that leaves the hands more soft and moisturized.

The fragrance of this line is ideal for those who like more floral smells, especially the rose fragrance and sweet smells. I love more citrus and fresh fragrances, but this one does not have a very strong sweet smell and I quite liked it.

I found it interesting that this cream is for hands and cuticles, besides using it as a hand cream whenever I see the need to moisturizer my hands, I have also used it to moisturize the cuticles when I’m doing my manicure.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been doing my own manicure and I do not remove the cuticles (since it’s healthier to leave them there, but very common to have them removed in Brazil where I was born and raised). I have been using this cream after I remove my nail polish, I push the cuticles very carefully, to make the nails more delicate and more beautiful. By the way, whenever possible, I try to stay one day a week without any nail polish, to let my nails breathe.

The product has a slightly creamier consistency than a lotion but is very light one, that leaves the hands with a good smell its easily absorbed by the skin.
