A must-see in Milan for those who love gastronomy and want to get to know one of the most famous and traditional pastry shops in Milan: the Pasticceria Marchesi. Created in 1824 and acquired by the Prada group, the pastry shop has now three addresses in the Italian city.
• Pasticceria Marchesi in Milan
A very traditional pastry shop in Milan, Pasticceria Marchesi was founded in 1824 and today it stands at the same address, being a historical pastry shop in Milan and even a symbol of the city. With so much tradition, as soon as I was around, I had to stop by at the traditional address to check it myself.
The pasticceria (Italian word for “pastry shop”) really began only with sweets and after 1900 also became a coffee shop. The traditional address on Via S. Maria alla Porta 11 / a, is the same since its opening and this address is more like a “fast coffee” kind of place with no place to sit or just to take something home / hotel (which by the way, when you take away, its wrapped in this lovely packaging of the beginning of this post).
About the sweets from the Marchesi pastry shop: delicious! Marchesi really has the tradition it deserves, I went to visit the traditional address and tried some traditional sweets and I also couldn’t resist to take others for later. (Yes, I love sweets.)
About the prices, I would say it’s a very normal price, just so you can have an idea, the sweets on the photo above had a price by weight and they cost only € 5. (And they were delicious indeed.)
So, when thinking about where to eat in Milan, if you’re craving some sweets, stop by at one of Marchesi’s address.
• Pasticceria Marchesi Addresses:

• Traditional address: Via S. Maria alla Porta 11 / a, 20123 Milano (It does not open on Mondays).
• Second address: Via Monte Napoleone 9, 20121 Milano.
• Third Address: Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
The second address is the new address opened in 2015, after the brand has been acquired by Prada. Unlike the traditional address, the new addresses have a space with tables and seats and a beautiful design chosen by Miuccia Prada herself.
For the Spring 2018, the collection of Atsushi Nakashima presented at this last Milan Fashion Week brought us a deconstruction of classic pieces with customizations of zipers that make them super modern and very contemporary pieces.

• Atsushi Nakashima: Spring 2018 MFW
My Spring 2018 season at Milan Fashion Week started with the Atsushi Nakashima fashion show here in Milan, bringing an air of modernity to fashion.
One of the classics of fashion, the trench coat got deconstructed and it gains up to three fabrics and colors in the above look.
Different fabrics and colors in one piece bring asymmetry back to fashion, playing with deconstructed fashion and customizing colors and accessories in a modern way is totally in for the Atsushi Nakashima Spring 2018 collection.
Denim garments are paired with tailored pieces and even the sweatshirt gets an air as a more fashionable and stylish look.
And speaking of denim, it also became the fabric for dresses like this stylish one for the next summer.
Blue, which turned out to be a trendy color already for this Fall/Winter season, especially when in combination with black, it’s probably going to continue here for the next summer:
The play between more sportive pieces and the more sophisticated air creates an elegant collection for the brand’s next summer. Like in this look that makes this sportive combination almost looks like a piece of tailoring.

Prismologie is one of those brands with a packaging that is a work of art of the minimal design and they also have great quality products. I tried out the Prismologie Hand and Cuticle Cream of the Pink O’Clock line with Rose and Pink Quartz fragrance of Prismologie, which has a delicate floral fragrance.
• Review of the Pink O’Clock Hand and Cuticule Cream from Prismologie:
I can’t get enough of looking at these beautiful packaging from Prismologie, I love the minimalist design and they look so beautiful and elegant in any bathroom. But let’s go back to the product’s Hand and Cuticule Cream from Pismologie review, it is a hand cream with a delicious fragrance that leaves the hands more soft and moisturized.
The fragrance of this line is ideal for those who like more floral smells, especially the rose fragrance and sweet smells. I love more citrus and fresh fragrances, but this one does not have a very strong sweet smell and I quite liked it.
I found it interesting that this cream is for hands and cuticles, besides using it as a hand cream whenever I see the need to moisturizer my hands, I have also used it to moisturize the cuticles when I’m doing my manicure.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been doing my own manicure and I do not remove the cuticles (since it’s healthier to leave them there, but very common to have them removed in Brazil where I was born and raised). I have been using this cream after I remove my nail polish, I push the cuticles very carefully, to make the nails more delicate and more beautiful. By the way, whenever possible, I try to stay one day a week without any nail polish, to let my nails breathe.
The product has a slightly creamier consistency than a lotion but is very light one, that leaves the hands with a good smell its easily absorbed by the skin.
• Where to buy Prismologie?

The red nail polish is a classic, check out the swatch of how the red nail polish from Kiko Make Up Milano in color N. 285 looks on my nails. A bright red nail polish with a slight shiny finish.
• Red Nail polish from Kiko Milano N˚ 285:
The red nail polish # 285 from Kiko Milano is a very bright red color, in my photo of packaging it is not possible to notice it, but it has some very small and subtle particles of glitter, as if they were a micro glitter, which can be seen in the bottle of the nail polish.
But when you apply the nail polish on your nails, the glitter don’t really show, because it’s very subtle, it only gives a slight glow.
Check out how the No. 285 red nail polish from Kiko Milano shows on the nails:
I applied two layers of the nail polish, it covered well and it did not show any transparent areas.
For a bright nail polish, it even lasted quite well on my nails without peeling in the first few days and only coming off lightly at the tips of my nails by the end of a week. In fact, I was even surprised at the duration of this nail polish, I confess that I expected it would last less.
A red dress is so important as any black dress in a woman’s wardrobe, it’s a statement kind of piece that’s already a classic in fashion and a must-have.
So here’s my choice of outfit with a little red dress, straight from a hidden little palazzo in Milan.
A red dress with ruffles, that always make a piece more feminine, even if in scarlet red! I paired this dress with black high heels and an updo in my hair, just because it’s incredible hot here in Milan.
I’m really enjoying this red dress, it’s easy to wear and it’s also perfect to pair with ballet flats for a more comfortable outfit and a different kind of look.
The red dress is from a website called StyleWe, it’s a website that sells independent fashion designer pieces and I found it so cool, I was contacted by them to pick two outfits and this lovely red dress was one of them. The dress quality is really good and the fabric is soft, so I was positively impressed.
Red dress: StyleWe | Necklace: My Gloss | Watch: Amuda Watch
GET THE LOOK:
For the jewelry, I’ve picked some almost minimal pieces in gold and a cool watch to give this outfit a little hint of coolness. A long necklace, a pair of earrings and quite a few rings + a bracelet.
Well, since there is never enough red on an outfit, I worn this red dress with red lipstick, the one and only and my favorite red lipstick: Ruby Woo by MAC, just to complete this outfit with the right amount of red. On my eyes, my signature makeup look with eyeshadows in tones of brown, elegant and it will always go with virtually any outfit.
