From day to Night: 4 outfits

From day wear to a night out! Get inspired with 2 outfits for each time of the day from the daily activities to a special occasion in the winter.

Getting dressed during the winter season can be a challenge, to me, when the sun is out I definitely try to enjoy it! And that’s the case of this first outfit to inspire you on how to wear a co-ord of a cropped top with a skirt in the winter:

Top cropped and skirt: winter outfit

Cor-ord: Femme Luxe Finery | Handbag: Michael Kors | Coat: Dresslily

When you’re wearing a cropped top during the winter, pair it with a very warm coat to keep the cold out when you’re in the open air. A good pair of cosy tights is also great! And a co ord is such a cute way to wear it and it also makes our lives so much easier, we don’t even need to think about how to match the outfit, just get your co-ord, add a coat and you’re ready to go!

And this option is perfect for the sunny days, but with a kind of winter-ish print. It’s such a casual day outfit to rock on a day in a cool style in the city:

But if you’re more into the trousers-kind of outfit today, or should I say leggings outfit with a twist? This winter outfit is for this kind of day! Dusky pink high shine PU leggings in a romantic outfit! Because who said that high shine PU leggings should be chosen only for sexy outfits? You can also go cute with this type of leggings and here’s an outfit to prove it:

I love to wear pastel colours during the winter, this type of color is usually more popular during the spring/summer season, but it’s also great for the winter, specially when you’re a bit tired of black and dark colours. And well, let’s face it: a little pink outfit can always brighten our day. 🙂

The cream coat breaks the sweetness of this look, instead of going completely monochromatic with all items in pink, I decided to go for the cream coat and use shoes.

Now it’s time to move on to the night outfits! Are you in the mood for something more basic or sequins all the way?

A traditional fabric that is typical for the cold season is velvet and it’s a trendy fabric again for this year! So if you’re a velvet lover like myself, it’s time to get that new velvet dress for a night out or a dinner. The model I chose is this wine velvet short dress but with a special touch: the chain straps.

Dark red velvet dress

Dress: Femme Luxe Finery | Necklace: MyGloss | Ring: Pietra Coralli

This short dress is a bodycon dress, which makes it sexy for a night out or a date night. Wear it with over the knee boots for a warm outfit in perfect winter style. This was my outfit for this Saturday night at the club for a friend’s birthday.

But if you want to party or celebrate in style, sequins are always a great idea! Thinking a little out of the box, instead of a traditional sequin dress, what about a co ord in full sequins? Nothing better than sequins to shine from head to toe!✨

The best of owning a going out co ord is that you can also wear it separately, for instance matching the sequins top with a basic skirt or even with a pair of jeans, depending on what kind of outfit you’re in the mood for. And let’s talk about the colour of this sequin combo?

The sequins from this outfit are so shinning and beautiful, I’m in love with it! Well, I think that from now you should already know that I LOVE sequins! 😅 And they are never enough! So I really enjoyed choosing a sequin co ord with trousers this time, instead of a dress as I always do.

So what was your favourite winter outfit from this blog post?

Glitter Fashion: the clothes to shine this season!

The Holidays are coming and it’s time to shine! You all know how much I love “shining clothes”, sequins and glitter! So when this time of the year arrives, I’m so happy to wear a lot of glitter and sequins!

From head to toe, I love to shine and the glitter pieces are perfect for it without going “too far”. If you know how to wear glitter clothes, you can wear it even as a work outfit! So take note on my styling tips, because I’ll help you to wear the glitter garments in style!

Glitter top with leather leggings

If you want to wear a glitter garment during the day or even as a work outfit, you can do it! You just need to pay attention and choose the right piece for this kind of occasion!

Something like this silver long sleeve top can be very versatile and if you wear it with neutral trousers, you are very appropriate even for day outfit! The key is balance. If you choose to wear a shiny top, go basic with your trousers/skirt and accessories for a work/day outfit.

My choice was a pair of fake leather leggings and black boots, keeping the focus of my outfit at the silver glitter top! (Even though let’s say “neutral” wasn’t really my idea, since I was wearing some turquoise hair, it’s a wig).

For a night out, a dinner or something more special, a glitter dress is a great and trendy option to rock a shiny outfit! Like this second outfit option with a silver glitter dress that I’m loving:

And this grey glitter dress is sparkly and completely trendy! As an one shoulder mini dress, it’s the perfect outfit for a party, a night out when you want to shine or even for a dinner out/date night, when you want to avoid the sequins.

The tie give this dress as special touch, making it a not such an usual dress, it’s perfect for when you want to stand out! And you can also play with it and tie it in different ways.

To me, it’s impossible to not think about red at this time of the year! With the Holidays coming, I always love to have at least a red dress for the Christmas season and since we are talking about glitter fashion, then, think about a red glitter dress! Sexy, elegant and completely in the mood of the season! That’s how this Christmas party dress is:

This red glitter halter neck midi dress is perfect for this season! Weather you will be spending the holidays in the cold winter (pair it with a cosy fake fur jacket) of even if you’re going to a summer paradise (like myself this year)! I’ll be spending the Holidays in Brazil this season, running away from the cold winter days in Europe this time. And I’ll be sure to pack this lovely dress with me!

How not to love this time of the year? Glitter everywhere! 😍

If you want just a little touch of glitter and shine, you can go with a basic outfit and add some shiny accessories! Belts, bags or shoes are a great way to dress up your outfit and make it shinier. So here’s how to do it with a black jumper dress:

Something that I love about the fall and winter season: jumpers! I love how cosy and warm they can be and there’s nothing easier than to wear a jumper dress. You can wear it with a pair of tights and you’re ready to go!

A jumper dress is a must have for the cold days and the softer the fabric, the cosier it gets. That’s what I’ve been loving about this black jumper dress from Femme Luxe Finery, it’s so soft and cosy that you want to wear it all the time!

Monday to Friday: 5 Fall outfits to inspire YOU!

Fall is here and the weather is getting colder and colder here in Milan, so today I’ve picked some different fall outfits to inspire you from Monday to Friday! From a casual outfit to a night out in sequins! So you can get fully inspired for this season and be ready to choose your favourite pieces of the season!

So starting the week, with a very casual outfit for a casual Monday: a pair of high-waisted jeans with a white bodysuit and you’re ready to go! Monday outfit here we go:

High waisted skinny jeans

Jeans: Femme Luxe Finery | Bodysuit: Femme Luxe Finery | Sandals: Amaro

As a Brazilian, I always loved a good pair of jeans! And this pair is a high-waisted one that I’ve been loving, because it’s very flattering and super cute with this denim belt. And to give it a touch of style, the plexiglass shoes give the final touch!

Let’s move to Tuesday with a pair of checked trousers that’s elegant and it could be a perfect pair of workwear trousers. The checked print has been quite a must-have since the last fall and this year, it won’t be different. In black and white, this print is timeless and it’s a great piece to have in your wardrobe.

Being a timeless piece, you will be able to wear it for many seasons and to match it with many different tops of a huge variety of colours.

Another trend that I’ve been loving this year is the cropped one! And even for the cold days! I’ve been enjoying this knitted crop top in black that is super cosy and warm. And you can wear it with skirts, trousers, shorts or even with a dress, it’s such a versatile top to have. Here I’m wearing this crop top with a very feminine skirt for a girly outfit:

Thursday is here and a casual outfit with a warm coat is a must have for the cold days!

A camel coat is always welcomed! It’s a neutral colour that goes well with virtually anything! You can match it with denim, with neutral colours or even with colourful outfits, when you need a touch of a neutral piece to complete your outfit.

And when the days get colder, nothing like a long coat to keep us warm! I’m that kind of person that is feeling cold most of the time during the winter, so a long coat is always my favourite kind of fall/winter coat, it can keep you cosy, warm and it’s also very elegant.

So now we get to Friday and let’s get ready to party! I’m a big fan of sequins and of going out in sequins! I think a sequin dress is the kind of dress every woman should always have at least one, or two or more… And since I’ve been in a rose gold mood, that was my choice of colour for this sequin dress:

Sequins dress by Femme Luxe

Dress: Femme Luxe Finery | Bracelets: Pesavento

A perfect dress if you’re going to a party or to dance the night out, because it creates such a beautiful movement when you move and dance! Like you can see in the previous photo, that I captured just the little second while I was dancing. (A little behind the scenes secret: I love to listen to music while I’m photographing or filming, so that’s pretty usual that I end up dancing in the middle of a shooting.)

Elegant and shiny, that’s how you will look when wearing a sequin dress like this one, that’s perfect for a night out! And this dress is also very sexy, because it’s a backless dress! Well, get ready to rock it and get all eyes on you.  ; )

And here’s another photo of this sequins dress, while I pretend I’m a very serious person that wasn’t dancing until a few minutes ago.

BTW: I’ve been having some fun with colourful nails over the last weeks (that’s why I’m wearing a different colour of nail polish in each nail in the photos), what do you think about this trend? I didn’t like at first, but I’m enjoying it now.
