I’ve been trying a couple of Pixi liquid lipsticks, which are called MatteLast Liquid Lip and I’ve been loving them all! Lately I just tried the Pleasing Pink liquid lipstick, a beautiful pink shade that I’m loving!
So here’s my review of the Pixi Matte Last Liquid Lip in the colour Pleasing Pink, including how it wears on the lips (swatch) and a video, so you can check how the colour looks in real life and on movement. You will also find a list of ingredients by the end of this post, in case you need to check it for allergies.
• Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip – Pleasing Pink:
This is my second time trying Pixi’s liquid lipsticks and I also had loved a previous nude colour I had tried last year, I had already liked the pigmentation and formulation of the previous colour and the same goes for the Pleasing Pink Colour.
This Pixi liquid lipstick dries very matte and it’s very pigmented, meaning that with only one layer of lipstick, you can already have a very rich and vibrant pink colour.
Here you can check how the colour goes on my lips with two different photos of me wearing the Pleasing Pink liquid lip colour:
On the first look, I did a more warm toned makeup look with 2 different shades of red eyeshadow (they are from the Morphe Fall into Frost 35F eyeshadow palette), completing it with the Pleasing Pink Lip colour by Pixi.
For this second look instead, I went for some brown shades for my eyes, also from the same palette of the previous look, pairing it with this pink liquid lipstick by Pixi:
You can also check a quick Instagram video on @manuluize, that I posted a couple of days ago, in which I apply the Pleasing Pink MatteLast Liquid Lip by Pixi, so you can check this colour in action:
This colour is really pigmented and it applies very well on the lips. The matte effect will show on the lips as soon as this liquid lipstick is dry.
For the duration of this lipstick, it has a good duration meaning that if you don’t eat anything, it will stay for a long time. When you eat, specially if it’s something oily, you will probably need to re-apply it after eating. Otherwise, for drier foods or a quick snack, the lipstick can have a longer duration, even if you eat something.

If there’s a makeup item that I love is a good eyeliner, I hardly ever leave the house without some eyeliner and today I’m reviewing the Esqido Gel Eyeliner.
I”ve met the brand Esqido a while ago, I had reviewed a pair of false eyelashes from the brand a couple of months ago, and then they launched a new product, a gel eyeliner that is available in two colours: black and brown. I’ve been trying it over the last weeks and I must start saying that I LOVED the black one!
But let’s get into the details:
• Esqido Gel Eyeliner Review:
Both colours are in form of an eyeliner pencil and they are very pigmented on the skin and they both have a great duration on the skin. Even when I washed my hands, the lines stayed still strong on my skin.
They also apply very easily to the skin with a soft texture.
The black eyeliner was my favorite between the two gel eyeliners from Esqido, it is very pigmented and the colour isn’t just strong by itself (like when I applied on my hand with no makeup under it), but it’s also very strong on the eyes applied with eyeshadows under it.
You can check on my photo and on its detail that the black eyeliner is very strong and it shows really well over the makeup, applying it only once is already sufficient for a dark and strong colour (I love it!):
This black liner had a great duration on my skin, staying on place and strong during the whole day.
Now on to the Esqido brown eyeliner, it also shows a very strong color when applied directly to the skin but when I applied over the makeup, the color wasn’t as strong as it was directly on the skin. This is something that happens with most of my brown eyeliner pencils, so I decided to try to make it work and this is what I found:
If I apply this brown eyeliner pencil before starting the eye makeup, meaning before your eyeshadows, then I go with the shadows as usual even over the liner, and to finish I apply the brown eyeliner again. It’s been working much better than just doing the eye makeup and only after applying the liner, I found it looks stronger this way than if I just apply it later (even when I apply it more than one time after the eyeshadows).
Therefore, I’m loving the Esqido black gel eyeliner and I’m using a lot on daily and night makeups! And I also made the brown liner work, making it stronger than most liners I have tired before
