I’ve been trying a couple of Pixi liquid lipsticks, which are called MatteLast Liquid Lip and I’ve been loving them all! Lately I just tried the Pleasing Pink liquid lipstick, a beautiful pink shade that I’m loving!
So here’s my review of the Pixi Matte Last Liquid Lip in the colour Pleasing Pink, including how it wears on the lips (swatch) and a video, so you can check how the colour looks in real life and on movement. You will also find a list of ingredients by the end of this post, in case you need to check it for allergies.
• Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip – Pleasing Pink:
This is my second time trying Pixi’s liquid lipsticks and I also had loved a previous nude colour I had tried last year, I had already liked the pigmentation and formulation of the previous colour and the same goes for the Pleasing Pink Colour.
This Pixi liquid lipstick dries very matte and it’s very pigmented, meaning that with only one layer of lipstick, you can already have a very rich and vibrant pink colour.
Here you can check how the colour goes on my lips with two different photos of me wearing the Pleasing Pink liquid lip colour:
On the first look, I did a more warm toned makeup look with 2 different shades of red eyeshadow (they are from the Morphe Fall into Frost 35F eyeshadow palette), completing it with the Pleasing Pink Lip colour by Pixi.
For this second look instead, I went for some brown shades for my eyes, also from the same palette of the previous look, pairing it with this pink liquid lipstick by Pixi:
You can also check a quick Instagram video on @manuluize, that I posted a couple of days ago, in which I apply the Pleasing Pink MatteLast Liquid Lip by Pixi, so you can check this colour in action:
This colour is really pigmented and it applies very well on the lips. The matte effect will show on the lips as soon as this liquid lipstick is dry.
For the duration of this lipstick, it has a good duration meaning that if you don’t eat anything, it will stay for a long time. When you eat, specially if it’s something oily, you will probably need to re-apply it after eating. Otherwise, for drier foods or a quick snack, the lipstick can have a longer duration, even if you eat something.

Here’s the list of ingredients of the MatteLast Liquid Lip in the colour Pleasing Pink by Pixi, you case you need to check and look out for any ingredients you may have an allergy:
As someone who has oily skin, there was a time I was kind of afraid even to think of using a skincare product that was oil-based, until I tried the first facial oil 2 years ago and I loved the texture! It is not because the product is an oil texture one that it will leave your skin oily, in fact even if you have oily skin, you can use oil-based products with no problem at all and they can be great for your skin.
So today I’m doing a full review of the InLight Face Oil, a product and brand that I’ve met at the Cosmoprof last year and that I was testing for a couple of months, using it daily during my morning and night routine.
• InLight Face Oil: Review
I’d like to just mention that InLight Beauty is an organic cosmetic brand, and that this Face Oil is 100% organic, meaning that all ingredients present in this product are 100% natural and organic. And I’ve been really enjoying getting to know more natural and organic brands, because I love skincare products and since they are super present in my daily routine, it’s always better to pay attention to what ingredients and chemicals I’m applying to my skin.
So back to the InLight Face Oil: it’s a protective elixir for daily moisturising and it’s recommended for all skin types, including sensitive and/or damaged skin by sun and ageing.
The brand introduces this face oil with the following benefits:
– To help to balance production of skin sebum
– For long lasting moisturising feel
– To create a protective barrier and base for makeup
– To leave your skin feeling velvety soft
After using it for a couple of months, I really feel that my skin feels moisturised and smooth, this oil is not heavy and it didn’t leave my skin feeling oily. I applied it every day morning and night and my skin was never feeling oily because of the product.
I also liked it as a base for my makeup, the foundation apply very easily after this oil.
This face oil has a really light texture and it’s easily absorbed by the skin, it doesn’t make your skin look or feel oily and since it’s easily absorbed, it also don’t make your skin feel sticky or anything like it. It’s color is yellow, but it goes clear and transparent when you apply it into your skin.
You just need a few drops to apply this oil to your face and neck, by the way, never forget to apply your skincare in you neck as well! The packaging recommends from 2 to 5 drops for face and neck and that’s really it, you just need a small quantity of product.
You can apply it and after go with any other product that you feel the need to apply, or you can apply your daily sunscreen if it’s in the morning.
I usually apply oily products after I wash my face and apply an eye cream, so the third product will be the skincare oil-based product I’m using at the moment. In the night I do the same thing and sometimes I apply a face exfoliator before applying this oil.
I’ve been really enjoying using oil-based products and I really liked this Face Oil from InLight, for being light textured and actually making my skin smooth and moisturised after every application. Since I tried it for a good couple of months, I can also say that it didn’t leave my skin oilier even when I was applying it on a continuous basis, even on a long period of time.

* This product was sent me by the brand and, as always, all reviews on this blog show my real and sincere opinions on any products after I used for at least a month.
Arkana is a polish brand I’ve been really enjoying for skincare and I tried the Arkana Cannabis Clean Foam, so here’s my full review after trying this cleanser foam for a couple os months.
I must confess that the first time I saw this product almost a year ago on the Cosmoprof, I thought that “cannabis” was quite a new thing as an ingredient, then I’ve noticed over the last months a lot of brands launching products using it on their formulation, and it became a trend on skincare lately.
The Arkana Cannabis Clean Foam contains Hemp (a variety of the cannabis sativa plant) + Poppy oil. The cannabis sativa oil is antioxidant, a super moisturiser, it has calming properties, provides deep hydration and revitalisation for the skin. Therefore, it’s a great ingredient to be part of a skincare product.
So now back to the review of this cleanser foam that I’ve been really liking.
• Arkana Cannabis Clean Foam (200ml) Review:
I’m a big fan of foam products to use as a face cleanser, they are my favourite kind of product for washing my face morning and night. So I was happy to try this one.
I’ve been using the Arkana Cannabis Clean Foam over the last months both morning and night, so I could really try and put it to the test. This is a face and body foam, but I’ve been mainly using it on my face, since it is recommended for dysfunctional and irritated skin and face skin is always more sensible.
This product is really gentle and it didn’t cause any irritation on my skin (which is quite sensible) and I also felt it didn’t leave any weird sensation (like those products that make your skin dry and you can feel it after removing the product), it actually leaves my skin feeling clean and soft, even using it twice a day.
Since I love wearing makeup, my skincare routine is really important and the cleaning and washing steps are always very important for my routine. I usually use a makeup remover and then a facial cleanser to wash my face with, but the Arkana Cannabis Clean Foam claims to remove the makeup too, so, of course, I put it to the test!
And I was so surprised! I actually just decided to try it today, before writing the review (no idea why I haven’t tried it before this way🙈), and I was so surprised how well it removed my makeup: full face (foundation, highlighter, powder, eyeshadow and even my mascara). I washed my face with it, then I did a little test: with a cotton embedded with makeup remover, I checked how my skin was and the cotton went out clean! I can’t believe why I wasn’t just using it before.
Therefore, the final veridic is that I really like this foam cleanser by Arkana: it cleans well, removes makeup and doesn’t leave the skin dry.
