Inlight Face Oil: Review

As someone who has oily skin, there was a time I was kind of afraid even to think of using a skincare product that was oil-based, until I tried the first facial oil 2 years ago and I loved the texture! It is not because the product is an oil texture one that it will leave your skin oily, in fact even if you have oily skin, you can use oil-based products with no problem at all and they can be great for your skin.
So today I’m doing a full review of the InLight Face Oil, a product and brand that I’ve met at the Cosmoprof last year and that I was testing for a couple of months, using it daily during my morning and night routine.
Inlight Face Oil: Review

• InLight Face Oil: Review

I’d like to just mention that InLight Beauty is an organic cosmetic brand, and that this Face Oil is 100% organic, meaning that all ingredients present in this product are 100% natural and organic. And I’ve been really enjoying getting to know more natural and organic brands, because I love skincare products and since they are super present in my daily routine, it’s always better to pay attention to what ingredients and chemicals I’m applying to my skin.
So back to the InLight Face Oil: it’s a protective elixir for daily moisturising and it’s recommended for all skin types, including sensitive and/or damaged skin by sun and ageing.
The brand introduces this face oil with the following benefits:
– To help to balance production of skin sebum
– For long lasting moisturising feel
– To create a protective barrier and base for makeup
– To leave your skin feeling velvety soft
After using it for a couple of months, I really feel that my skin feels moisturised and smooth, this oil is not heavy and it didn’t leave my skin feeling oily. I applied it every day morning and night and my skin was never feeling oily because of the product.
I also liked it as a base for my makeup, the foundation apply very easily after this oil.

InLight Face Oil Texture
This face oil has a really light texture and it’s easily absorbed by the skin, it doesn’t make your skin look or feel oily and since it’s easily absorbed, it also don’t make your skin feel sticky or anything like it. It’s color is yellow, but it goes clear and transparent when you apply it into your skin.
You just need a few drops to apply this oil to your face and neck, by the way, never forget to apply your skincare in you neck as well! The packaging recommends from 2 to 5 drops for face and neck and that’s really it, you just need a small quantity of product.
You can apply it and after go with any other product that you feel the need to apply, or you can apply your daily sunscreen if it’s in the morning.
I usually apply oily products after I wash my face and apply an eye cream, so the third product will be the skincare oil-based product I’m using at the moment. In the night I do the same thing and sometimes I apply a face exfoliator before applying this oil.
I’ve been really enjoying using oil-based products and I really liked this Face Oil from InLight, for being light textured and actually making my skin smooth and moisturised after every application. Since I tried it for a good couple of months, I can also say that it didn’t leave my skin oilier even when I was applying it on a continuous basis, even on a long period of time.
