Let’s talk about the super useful Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven review, this electric oven is something I’ve already been using almost daily over the last two months. This may not be the most common subject here on the blog, but I LOVE to cook and even took some cooking courses before! I was gifted this product by the brand, still, like always, all opinions are my honest opinions.

What is the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven
So the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven is a multifunctional 8-in-1 electric oven with all functions you need to cook, air fry, bake, toast, and even dehydrate food. Everything together in a single product, that is a small digital oven. Great for not occupying too much space in your kitchen and for having everything in a single appliance.
You don’t even need any installation, just plug this oven into the outlet and you’re done. I’ve been using it for two months now and since I turned it on, I have only used my traditional oven once because it’s so much more convenient and faster. Plus, it has any function you would need to cook at home.
From savoury to sweets, I’ve been trying everything and had a lot of fun with this air oven lately.
What are the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven functions
This Ninja Foodi has 8 functions that make it a complete digital oven, the functions are:
- Air Fry
- Roast
- Grill
- Bake
- Dehydrate
- Keep Warm
- Toast
- Bagel
My go-to functions are Bake, Roast, and Air Fry, but all of them were really useful. You can make anything from breakfast to dinner. And if you often cook at home for yourself or for your family, this multifunction oven will probably be very useful too.
Quick side note: this was my first time using a product from Ninja Foodi, I haven’t used any of their products before and I must say I’ve been impressed with this one. Basically, I didn’t know I would like it so much and that I’d be using it all the time.
How do you use the Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven
As I mentioned before, all you have to do is plug it and your electric oven will be ready to use. As with any other oven, for the first time, you should turn it on at 200˚C for 20 minutes with no food inside.
For all the other times, just choose the right function you need, and set up the temperature and the time. Once you set it up, the oven will start preheating, once it’s done, you will hear a sound and it’s ready to add the food.
The first thing that impressed me with the Ninja Foodi electric oven has that the preheating time was very fast for all functions. I was expecting it to take a longer time, but I barely had time to prepare something and it was ready to use!
So my advice is that since it’s quite quick to preheat: start to prepare the food and once you’re almost done preparing, you can turn on the oven. In this way, it’s possible to avoid any energy waste. 😉
The oven also came with instructions with the cooking time of the most traditional foods.
Advantages of the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 Electric Oven
- Multifunction: The main advantage of the Ninja Foodi air fryer oven is that having so many features in a single product is much more convenient, not to mention the space you save by having so many features in one product. I have made vegetables, pies, cupcakes, vegan burgers and so much more.
2. Quick preheating: This oven heats up very quickly, just set a function, temperature and time and the oven goes into heating mode, which as soon as it finishes, alerts us. Great for people like me who sometimes forget to preheat the oven.
3. Faster baking time: Not only is the time to preheat the oven faster but also the time to bake and cook in general, I noticed that almost everything I cook takes less time than with the traditional oven, for me, it’s definitely a big positive point. A positive point in time management and also in energy saving, for a more sustainable world.
I will definitely continue to use this oven in the future as it has already become part of my routine for cooking every day. Highly recommended for all its functionality in one product.
Cons of the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 Electric Oven
Most of the time I can do everything in this electric oven, the main negative point for me was when you need to bake more food at the same time, you can’t fit it all at once in this oven. Such as baking two pizzas at the same time. Or if you want to bake a normal/tall cake, I wasn’t able to fit my cake pans due to the small height of this electric oven.
To be sincere I usually only bake small healthy cupcakes or cornbread during everyday life, so this wasn’t really a problem for me. But in case of special occasions, I’d need to use the traditional oven for this.
I’d say that you’re able to use a pan that has its height of a maximum of 6,5cm to fit well in there. I was able to use a 7cm bread pan, but it was really tight.
As I mentioned I’ve been using it almost every day for 2 months, and for now, this was the only negative point I could notice, which for me is not a big problem. As for the duration of the product, I’ll update it in the future once I used it for at least a whole year.
Is the Ninja Foodi air fryer worth it?
Yes, for me it’s totally worth it if you cook at home! Since you get many functions in a single product and also at an affordable price. Most of the functions are useful to cook in the everyday life, from baking to air frying. Maybe you won’t use the “dehydrate” function often, but all the others are very daily life useful.
Also, it’s a great air fry oven that doesn’t take too much space and you can also flip it up to save even more space when you’re not using it.
